Catch n Cook GROUNDHOG! | HAIR SINGE - YUCK?!?! | Primitive HADZA Method | Nose to TailThis makes the whole thing edible and provides much needed calories to the meal through the fat that skin contains. This method leaves nothing to waste. While the skin started off not very palatable, the more it was cooked, the more it rendered down into something that was very fatty and pleasing - very satisfying to a hungry person and very necessary to live long term in the wild. The hare broth turned into groundhog broth which turns into our next meal, with every new item, the broth gets richer. In this episode we dig into some groundhog in effort to stave off starvation. Groundhog are small, but they are all we have, so we make use of the entire animal including the stomach, brain, and skin.
